Being overweight is a common issue. About 60% of adults in the UK are either overweight or obese. Losing weight can help reduce the risk of health problems related to obesity, such as diabetes or high blood pressure, which can lead to heart attacks.
What is this service?
Nimbuscare offers a comprehensive, face to face weight management service tailored to every patient’s health needs.
Through a series of monthly consultations, each patient receives tailored information and advice from a group of speacialised GPs, bariatric nurses and dietitians.
The objectives of the programme are to prevent, or address, limiting long-standing illnesses derived from obesity, with a focus on patient safety.
