Education by Nimbuscare

Nimbuscare aims to provide the highest quality care to all patients using its services. In order to minimise risk to both patients and staff, all staff and temporary workers (including volunteers and students) are required to complete mandatory training to deliver safe effective service in their area of work.

Nimbuscare is committed to ensuring that adequate provision is made for mandatory training and for staff to be released to undertake such training.

The policy applies to all staff and temporary workers who are employed by Nimbuscare. This includes permanent staff, fixed term, zero hours (casual) and temporary staff including Professionals and honorary contracts plus other members of our workforce which includes volunteers and students.

Coffee and Cake with Treasure Chest: Breast feeding Support.

Children Welcome!

York Medical Society and Treasure Chest

York Medical Society and Treasure Chest invite all health professionals and their partners who are considering breast feeding, are breast feeding or who wish to explore how they can support breast feeding, to meet Treasure Chest and like-minded people for an informal information sharing, discussion and support event over a coffee (or other refreshment!) and a nice cake if you fancy.

Treasure Chest Breastfeeding Group was established in 2005 by a group of health professionals and local York parents who had an interest in breastfeeding and in helping others to breastfeed.

They are a not for profit organisation in York, run entirely by volunteers and funded by donations.

Their trained peer supporters and breastfeeding counsellors are all parents who are passionate about breastfeeding with at least six months’ breastfeeding experience.’
