Nimbuscare supports collaborative working by PCN commercial leads group 

Nimbuscare has been driving collaborative working across its 11 GP Practices for some time. In addition to joined-up clinical work through Clinical Directors, PCN commercial leads meet twice a month to share learning, and best practices and discuss how we can all work together to improve care across the patch, working as one.

Chaired by our Commercial Director Zulf Ali ( left) , it has made excellent progress in many areas, such as technology alignment, addressing challenges like cost of living and impact salary expectations, providing strategies on commercial matters and providing a support structure to resolve mutual challenges. Five Commercial leads, one from each PCN, attend the meetings which were originally set up during the pandemic. 

This group is crucial to driving change through Nimbus, PCN's. and GP Practices, as well as supporting each other along the way. It is currently looking at financial challenges and how we can address these matters while improving services, leading to developing shared strategies to mitigate risks. The idea is, and where possible that we move as one.

The team is also working to develop a York-wide IT and estates strategy, looking at how these can be integrated and support the wider system. Anyone who would like to learn more about this work, please contact Zulf Ali.
