Collaborative Future event

Nimbuscare hosted a successful symposium in York recently, inviting colleagues from across the locality. It was a good opportunity to get together to discuss integrated healthcare and what it looks like.

The ‘Collaborative Future’ event was attended by a variety of colleagues from across the York and Healthcare Partnership. Also present were Prof Claire Fuller, author of the Fuller Stocktake report, Professor Dame Clare Gerada, President of the RCGP, Rachael Maskell, MP, and Susan Symington, Chair of the Humber and North Yorkshire ICS.

Prof Mike Holmes said: “It was so good to see everyone and build on the excellent relationships we have. Understanding each other and recognising that only we can take our place forward is so important. I got a sense that we are all committed to making the future work. It was great to see everyone so engaged and taking time out of their week to consider the situation.

“It was a privilege to be joined by Clare Gerada and Claire Fuller. They gave us lots to think about. Thank you to everyone for taking part – we are all looking forward to what comes next.”
