Basic Life Support (BLS) +/- Anaphylaxis

Who is this training for?

Nimbuscare and Member Practices workforce

When are you required to complete this training?

  • Clinical staff are expected to receive face to face BLS training annually.
  • Non-clinical patient-facing staff at managers discretion.
  • All other non-clinical staff are to receive face to face training every three years and annually online.
  • All new starters are to receive face to face training initially.

Oliver McGowan - Tier 2 Training

Nimbuscare are working in collaboration with York and Scarborough Foundation Trust on behalf of The Mental Health, Learning Disabilities and Autism Sector Collaborative at Humber and North Yorkshire Health & Care Partnership.

Who should attend?

Primary Care Staff who may need to provide care and support for people with autism or people with a learning disability.

What’s involved in Tier 2?

  • Part 1: Online e-learning module 90 mins.
  • Part 2: A 1-day face-to-face update, co-delivered by experts with lived experience. (Recommended within 6 months of completing the e-learning)

The purpose of the session is to aid practices in their pursuit of the QoF payments associated with Weight Management.
