Nimbuscare is committed to supporting healthcare professionals within the organisation and across the wider health and care system. We believe that meaningful learning happens through collaboration - bringing together expertise from across organisations to share knowledge, build relationships, and improve care for our communities.

Working closely with clinicians, educators and subject matter experts from Nimbuscare and Member Practices, alongside colleagues from York and Scarborough Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, and other local and national system partners and organisations, we design and deliver high-quality education that reflects the realities of integrated care.

Our dynamic and engaging events promote continuous professional development, strengthen skills, and create opportunities for shared learning across organisational boundaries. By championing joined-up system learning, we support healthcare professionals to collaborate more effectively, innovate together, and ultimately deliver the highest quality care for patients. Every event is underpinned by professionalism, trust, inclusivity and human connection, delivered by a dedicated and experienced team.

Our flexible support can include:

Venue sourcing and management (including catering, accommodation, and invoicing)
Liaison with external partners (including pharmaceutical sponsors)
AV, catering, and guest speaker coordination
Delegate registration and feedback collection
Certificates of attendance
On-the-day facilitation

We maintain appropriate insurance coverage for all business activities.

Collaboration with the Pharmaceutical Industry

We frequently collaborate with pharmaceutical companies and aligns with the ABPI Code of Practice (2024), overseen by the Prescription Medicines Code of Practice Authority (PMCPA).

While independent of the ABPI, we recognise that many supporting companies are members. To support transparency and compliance, we adhere to relevant ABPI Code provisions, particularly regarding:

Venue and Speaker Selection: Ensuring events are free from undue influence, bribery, or bias.
Sponsorship Opportunities: All companies receive equal opportunity to support events. Selection considers prior involvement and relevance, not simply order of response.
Promotion and Acknowledgement: All sponsors are recognised on event materials including agendas and certificates.
Speaker Conduct: Guest speakers are reminded to remain impartial and avoid product or company promotion. Honoraria may vary.
Sponsorship Transparency: Sponsorship income is scaled to delegate numbers, with all companies informed in advance.
Delegate Information Sharing: Post-event registration summaries (name, role, and workplace only) are shared with sponsors. Personal contact details are excluded unless explicit consent has been given.
